René Sim graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1985 and holds a B.Econ degree.  She

majored in Industrial Psychology and Marketing.  She joined South African Airways, where she was

able to combine her love of travel with her passion for facilitation and training. She joined Strategy

Management Consultants, as it was called with Ian Paterson as MD, in 2000. In 2007 she became

the managing partner of Insight Customer Solutions, a member of the SMC.group.
